basics and some fun moves to this fast past
dance that has never gone out of style

2 hour Dance Workshops—7:00-9:00pm on Monday
Evenings
Each workshop is 2-hours long and is meant to
give a good introduction to a particular dance.
Form, Poise, Posture, History, and Basic
Steps will be taught-followed up with several
more challenging steps to try—designed to get
you out dancing quickly--$20.00 per

children’s self –esteem and increase confidence
in social situations. Program includes the
following topics: Greetings and Goodbyes,
Handshaking, Including Others, Helping Others,
plus Other Kind Things We Say and Do.
Participants Lean and Practice a ballroom line
dance and will demonstrate skills at class
finale “Tea Party” with punch & cookies.
Five days--$65.00 plus $10.00 material

An interactive, hands-on program designed to
increase young children’s confidence and boost
their communication skills. Program
includes the following topics: Telephone
Manners, Sharing of Ideas, Answering Questions,
School Etiquette, and What Your Face and Body
Say Even When Yu Are Not Speaking. Also:
Students will practice a circle or line dance
designed to give a basis for ballroom dance and
will practice at final day “Tea Party”

Help make mealtimes more enjoyable
for everyone! This program uses
activities and games to teach appropriate
behavior at the table, Participants learn how to
set the table and how to hold utensils.
Children receive worksheets for additional
practice at home. Each day student
will practice a circle or line dance designed to
give a basis for ballroom dance. Final day ‘tea’
party with punch & cookies and parents watch as
children demonstrate their manners & dance
technique--Five days--$65.00 plus $10.00

Mad About Manners! Summer Cotillion (for ages
8-12)--July/August 2008- Times: 1:30 to
4:30 (30 hrs)
Join an exciting program of instruction in
table manners, social etiquette and communication
skills. Participants in this highly interactive,
fun-filled program learn about meetings and
greetings, common courtesies, behavior for
public places, the do's and don'ts of dining,
host and guest behaviors, conversation skills,
plus many other ways to make sure you are always
putting your best foot forward. Get ready for
education and entertainment as you learn
practical applications, as well as historical
perspectives. A "must have" for boosting
confidence and developing leadership skills.

Designed for
the student with a busy schedule, this 3+-hour
class emphasizes the importance of having
good manners
in all aspects of life. Topics include: Initial
Impression, Dress for Success, Conversation and
Listening, Etiquette in Public, Phone and E-Mail
Etiquette. Don't miss this opportunity to
discover what makes someone shine! Great class
as an introduction or a refresher!

Give teens the extra tools to succeed.
To gain confidence in social settings
they will learn skills include: proper
handshaking and greetings, introductions,
showing proper respect, proper non-verbal
communication, effective listening and
conversation skills, dining skills, seating a
woman, & more.
Dance class includes basic Swing Dance
(Jitterbug), Basic Fox Trot, and Intro to Waltz,
and Proper Dance Etiquette.
Tea dance final day is practice and party
to try out newly learned skills.
